Bus and coach operators along the road to the isles

Bus and Coach operators run services to and from Fort William and along the Road to the Isles. We hope to bring you lists of these companies as they register with the Lochaber Directory. Stagecoach is now the established operator for scheduled bus services around the Highlands of Scotland. From Fort Wiliam to Mallaig, and in and around the villages and communities along the Road to the Isles, Shiel Buses operate the bus service.

This part of the west Highlands is all countryside with low levels of population so don't expect a bus to come along every 15 minutes as they may do in a large city. You need to plan your journeys and fit in with the scheduled bus timetables - unless you want to hire a car or take a tour with a local service provider.
