Eating out and good pubs along the way

The villages of Glenfinnan, Glenuig, Arisaig, Morar and Mallaig, as well as the community at Inverie on the shore of Loch Nevis are where most eating out places will be found along the Road to the Isles area. We are doing our best to present all these businesses to you through The Lochaber Business Directory, which in time will include every business in the area.

In addition to the restaurants and local pubs or hotels, there are a few shops in Arisaig and Mallaig as well as a great fish and chip shop.

The Lochaber area generally has a really wide choice of places to eat, drink and relax - last time we counted there were almost fifty located throughout this very scenic area of the west Highlands. No matter where you are staying locally, you can always take a day trip to another part of Lochaber and sample the food and service in Fort William & Glen Nevis,  Spean Bridge and the Great Glen, Glencoe and Kinlochleven and Ardnamurchan.
