Corpach - at the start of the road to the isles

Corpach is an integral part of the Fort William community but if you are planning a trip along the Road to the Isles and to the Isle of Skye, stopping off in Corpach would be a great idea.

Corpach provides a good selection of B & Bs, guesthouses and a few self-catering options. There's a good grocery stores, two pubs and a restaurant. The Corpach Hotel, a former coaching inn is an old established business in the village.

The Caledonian Canal begins at Corpach and from the site-seeing point of view, is hugely interesting and often provides marvellous photos of Ben Nevis reflecting in the Canal basin. There is a lovely walk along the Canalside to the near village of Caol where you could eat at The Lochy and stroll back later in the evening.
